what's the best type of camera to take vintage looking photo's? not black and white or sepia tone vintage but distorted faded colors, to make it look like the photo is kind of old, like a polaroid almost.

A Holga film camera can give you that kind of look as well as the ability to do true in camera multiple exposures for even more creativity. The Holga, and Diana and other type of lomography cameras are a very "liberating" type of photography. Basically anything is fair game, often times the more mundane and "ugly" the scene, the better it is for a lomo camera.
