What does a fancy/fake silver double-stranded bracelet mean with fake gems of zirconian diamonds and?

fake sapphires symbolize? It has a line of 3 gems on each strand of diamond-sapphire-diamond, 6 altogether. It was given to me by an elderly co-worker of mine, a grandmother figure, for a gift and after I refused to accept it she insisted many times that I take it. And when she told me it was only a fancy jewelry I accepted. It looked really pretty but the silver has since tarnished. But I was always curious if it symbolically meant anything in terms of the shape and colors? It was given to me like 6-8 years ago.
