Snake ring, SMALL gauged ears, dark nail polish a turnoff for guys?

If you were walking down a hall and you happened to notice a girl walking past you with dyed hair, or a snake ring on her finger, or dark nail polish, or big boots, or some other random thing that made her stand out, would you immediately overlook her in search of a more "normal" chick?

do qualities like those influence your mate-seeling decisions in a negative way?

because i've been told that some things I wear would immediately turn guys off, but I have a hard time believing that guys would be so pigheaded, but sadly I think it's true.

and I don't mean a girl with dark, weird makeup or anything, a normal amount of makeup but let's say a whacky haircut or dyed black hair or gauged ears or something like that.

Well its an expression of who you are isn't it. And I'm sure there are guys turned off by it, just like there are guys turned off by the whole barbie girl look. But wouldn't you want someone that was like you, in the way that they also express who they are, and/or are open minded about appearances? I also agree though, many guys will overlook a girl for something like that. Sad and suckish
