How to wire two light sockets together?

I want to hook up two light fixtures to a power source. The first fixture has four screws, and i hooked up the white and black to their screws, and the other two open ones i ran to the other fixture. I also connected the grounds together at light 1. I tried to draw a representation below.

this is a parallel circuit if one light burns out the other will still work. Good job.
