Times Not to Ring a Customer Service Line
Whether you are ringing your insurance company, Internet supplier or electric company. You have to make sure that you plan exactly what you are going to do. Its exactly like planning to go to your daily job or on days out, you would either leave early or find an alternative route so that you do not get caught in traffic. If you do not plan your phone call then you could end up being stuck in cellular traffic, which is a terrible experience. So below is a few times that I have put together that you definitely need to avoid.
8-9am
It would be crazy to even consider ringing anywhere at this time of day. Not only is it because the companies open their doors at that time of day but its also when people are on their way to work or drop their kids off. So the lines are going to be jam packed.
12pm-1pm
Once again another time to avoid, I do know that a lot of people want to go on their lunch breaks and sort of their problems, but this is definatley not the right time to do it. Instead spend this time eating your lunch because if you decide to make a call there is no way that you are going to fit it in, in an hour.
5pm-6pm
Finally the last time to avoid is between the evening hours; again this is when everyone is going home after one day of hard labor and before they relax they quickly want to sort out all of their problems.
To sum up try ringing in between these times, although it may be a bit harder for you to do you will save yourself so much more time.
