belly ring rejected, can i get it redone?
a little over a year ago, i got my belly button pierced. (also, the guy didnt use a clamp he just used his hands)
it healed up fine.
I changed rings after it was healed (i think it was a reaction to the type of metal, since it wasn't stainless steal) , and it got infected. and ever since it got an infection it has started pushing closer and closer to the skin.
Also, since there was very little skin left, it was making the piercing dangle, so it would get caught on everythinggg.
Finally last night I had to take it out. It was so close to the surface, you could actually see the barbell through the skin!
Does it hurt to have it redone? Since the piercing got pushed to the surface, will there be any scar tissue to hurt during piercing it?

There will most likely be scar tissue from the rejection. You need to talk to a piercer about possibly re-piercing it. It may hurt a bit more due ot the scar tissue but it may not, it depends on how the scar tissue develops. Also, the piercing could possibly heal a bit crooked due to the scarring. However, if there is scarring, it is less likely to reject again, which is a plus.
