Is this necklace authentic?

I know that the pearls are fake because it says so in the description...but is it actually Chanel or just a knock off?
As long as you know that it's costume, then that isn't an issue. The box and certificate look like authentic Chanel. It's also encouraging that the seller has 100% Positive Feedback. On the other hand, authentic Chanel costume jewelry can still be expensive (see link), so why are they auctioning this on ebay?
