Your opinion on a necklace/brooch combination?
For my Winter Formal dance, I'm wearing an off-white gown with a lace-up back and spaghetti straps. I also have a 5-strand off-white, peach, and gold necklace with a gold flower pendant. The only thing I can't decide on is this: my grandmother gave me a brooch that was her mom's. It's a gold bow with (fake) diamonds on it. Both the necklace and brooch are beautiful, antique-looking pieces, but I don't know if they'll look okay together, especially with the dress, or if they'll just look stupid together or take attention away from the dress. And if I do wear the brooch, where should I pin it?
I'm in high school.
Yikes! I'm not too sure about the two together, could you possibly wear the brooch at another dance? It sounds beautiful, but I think that the necklace goes better with your dress.
