Would this make a nice engagement/wedding ring?

Do people wear these as engagement/wedding rings? Traditional wedding rings that are plain white diamonds and stuff seem kind of boring, lol. I just think it's really pretty, it's my favorite colors, and it's inexpensive. What's your opinion? I mean...it doesn't say engagement or wedding, but couldn't it be for that or any occasion? Sorry if this is a stupid question, it just bugs me. XD

Thanks to everyone who replied, I appreciate all your information and opinions... Of course, I changed my mind, I'm a woman. XD Thought about the whole band thing, which wouldn't fit with that ring. I like the ring, but I want it to just shout "I'm engaged." Lol. I'll just keep browsing. ^_^

I don't know much about this.. I'm not married or anything, but really the engagement/wedding rings should be personal. If you like that ring, there is no reason you shouldn't get it.. IMHO
