ladies, advice on a Christmas gift please?

okay, here's what happened, my girlfriend broke this glass ring that had a lot of sentimental value to her. she gave me some of the shards because i was there at the time and i was thinking about getting one nice looking piece made into a new piece of jewelry, either a ring or a pendant. here's the pros and cons of each, please tell me which you think i should do.

1) ring - pros: will look much nicer, relates to the original sentimental value better
cons: more likely to break, expensive to get custom made to the point where i probably shouldn't

2)pendant: pros: less expensive customwork, less likely to break
cons: she received two pendants as gifts her last birthday, not as nice as the ring

what do you think?

you should get her the ring if u loved her that much, u should trust her she can take care of a ring (all girls can) well just trust her and all if u love her that much
