Work for Hire/Copyright transfer question:?
I have a freelancer create simple designs for me that are according to my specifications and directions.
If the designer and I sign a work for hire contract, and the designer signs a copyright transfer contract, do I as the "employer or contractor" own the copyright?

You contracted with the designer for the work, so the work is yours. It falls under "Work for hire". You own the copyright.
