How can I take a clip from final cut into imovie?
I am making a film in imovie, but I used final cut to crop one of my shots down, I now want to put the cropped clip back into imovie, but I don't know how!
I'm not familiar with Final Cut and I've used iMovie only a few times (I have a PC not a Mac lol... but my friends own Mac's)... but I do have a lot of experience with other film editing software and usually there is some sort of button or function in which you can save the clip you edited as a normal .avi file... (usually when you're finished with the "project" it'll save it as the software's special file... for example I'll make up something like ".dsoidf"... you need to make sure it's saved as .avi or some other movie file type you are familiar with) you should save it in a file where you remember...
Then when you go into imovie look in that folder where you save it and put it back onto what you're doing.
That button usually says something like "finalize" or "save as" or "save on". Make sure to choose file and from the drop down menu pick the kind of file you want to save it as (pick one compatible with iMovie).
