Is my outfit appropriate/correct for 1920s day at school?
In my AP US History class, we are learning about the 1920's era, and to celebrate and be graded on, we are having a day to dress up in 1920s clothing tomorrow. i'm planning to be a flapper. what can i add to my following outfit to become more flapper-like?
i'm wearing a purple-pinkish dress that is straight & sleeveless. i'm adding black pantyhose (NOT opaque) and black ballet flats (since i have no other matching black shoes). i'm adding a strand of pearls or hopefully two if my friend brings hers. i am also borrowing a black beaded vintage looking purse. lastly, if i get time, i am curling my long hair or at least throw it in a low bun.
i also have a question to whether this is appropriate or not... my mom has a perfume collection and it includes a perfume in a "cigar holder." it just looks like one. should i take this to school to also show how flappers smoked?
